| Bio: | My journal is a mix of emotional nattering, politics, language, and miscellany. I have one major ground rule: Try to be respectful. I see a personal blog (like a LiveJournal) as an invitation into someone's emotional house. Take that as you will.
If you add me, I'll generally add you back. I'm passive like that: I used to add other people regularly, but not anymore. So if I seem interesting, feel free to add me; don't wait for me to make the first move.
I am a once-and-future writer. I have the skills, I lack the ambition.
I am a liberal, by which I mean that people should try to be good to each other regardless of background, anything done between consenting adults is their own business, and government should do its best to keep people from starving or beating each other up.
I am privileged. I am white, middle-class, male, raised Christian, married. I have had food on the table for as long as I can remember, clean clothes to wear, and a bed to sleep in. I am well-educated.
